The Basil Leaf Café has been in business since October of 2009. We started in the side of a gas station on 6th Street, which has since been replaced by a bank. In 2013, The Basil Leaf Café moved to 616 E 9th Street, AKA the old “Joe’s Bakery” location.
The Basil Leaf Café Story
The Basil Leaf Café changed ownership in 2019, when Brandon Graham and David Bennett bought it. Brandon’s wife, Andrea, loved The Basil Leaf Cafe so much and wanted it to stay around, so they bought it and kept it alive. In July of 2022 The Basil Leaf Café rebranded and moved to 801 Massachusetts St. in the Historic Round Corner Drug Store Building. Dana was hired in November of 2022 and became the GM in May of 2023.
